SCHOOL UNIFORM POLICY
School Uniform is worn throughout the school, but in the Sixth Form there are clearly defined alternatives to the blazer and grey trousers.
Our school uniform comprises:-
Navy blue blazer – with or without embroidered badge available from school
Charcoal grey trousers of `standard school cut’
Plain white shirt
School tie – with House colour stripe, can only be purchased from the School
Pullover (if worn) in plain navy blue with V-neck available from school
Plain grey socks
Plain black leather shoes (not in exaggerated fashion)
Top coat of a plain colour (no logos)
SIXTH FORM UNIFORM
A dark business suit
Plain white or blue shirt (not denim) – white on formal occasions
A sixth form tie
Hair must be clear of the collar and always kept clean and tidy
There is very little that is specific to the school; we do not think it reasonable to specify exclusive - and therefore expensive- styles when parents already have so many other calls on their money. It is possible to purchase most of the items listed above from multiple stores.
In return, we ask parents to support us - and each other - in maintaining the high standards for which the school has justly been known by ensuring that articles of clothing do indeed conform to the specifications above. This is especially important with jackets, trousers and shoes.
The three `exclusive’ items
-The Blazer
-The House Tie
-The School Badge – all available from the Finance Department during school hours
