Old Maidonians and Desborough Society

The Old Maidonians and Desborough Society (OMADS) provides a lasting connection between former pupils and staff and the College, ensuring that the Desborough community continues well beyond a student’s time at school. Founded in 1924, the Society brings together former members of the College through regular communication, social events and shared interests. Its activities include an annual dinner, reunions, sporting fixtures and competitions, including golf and cricket, alongside a regular newsletter celebrating the achievements and stories of Old Maidonians. The Society has members living across the UK and around the world, reflecting the enduring reach of the Desborough community.

The Society also plays an important role in supporting the College and its current students. Over the years, Old Maidonians have contributed to student awards ceremonies, supported school teams, and provided funding for special projects and awards. The Society also works to maintain links between former and current students, helping to celebrate the College’s heritage while strengthening the community for future generations.

Through opportunities to return to the College, attend events, take part in sporting fixtures and remain connected with former classmates and staff, OMADS ensures that becoming a member of the Desborough community is something that continues long after leaving the College.

For more information about the OMADS, you can visit their website.
