Desborough School's annual talent show, Star Factor, will take place this year on Tuesday 7th July, starting at 7pm in the main hall.

The evening is a fantastic lighthearted extravaganza of music and dancing, including solo acts, group acts and even teacher acts! The event is sponsored by Sheargolds, the award-winning music shop, who have generously donated prizes for winning acts.

Tickets are available either on the door, or in advance from Mr. Goldsbrough in the music department, priced at just £3 for adults and £1 for students, children and concessions.

The Year 7 & 8 PE Sponsored Walk takes place on Thursday 9th July 2009, during Periods 4 and 5. The aim is to raise money for the PE department, towards new equipment and funding for a new minibus.

Every student MUST contribute a minimun of £1 to take part. Money should be given to form tutors no later than Friday 3rd July 2009. A copy of the sponsorship form is available on the link below.

Students from each tutor group will be given a dress code nearer the time.

ICT rooms are being made available for Year 10 pupils who need to complete coursework.
