Principal's Welcome

Here at Desborough we are committed to ensuring that every student maximises their potential. The last few years have taught us that the future our children face is uncertain and complex, so preparing them to thrive both within school and beyond is at the heart of everything we do. Afterall, this is what I want for my own children.

We have an extremely dedicated team of staff who care deeply about our students and believe that they all have the ability to reach and exceed their academic potential. We support this through high-quality teaching and learning that enables students to acquire the knowledge and skills required for their next steps in education or employment.

We are equally dedicated to the personal development of our students, ensuring they are equipped with the personal attributes that enable them to be happy and engaged members of the school and wider community. We go beyond the timetabled curriculum to provide students with numerous opportunities to learn through a wide range of extra-curricular clubs, trips and student leadership activities.

I am proud to be leading the school on this journey at a very exciting time. We are investing heavily in the school site and will soon be joining the Pioneer Educational Trust family of schools: Upton Court Grammar School in Slough, Trevelyan Middle School in Windsor and Foxborough Primary School in Langley. I know this partnership will help us build on our previous successes and provide the opportunities for us to collaborate with like-minded, forward-thinking schools to provide a truly outstanding education.
